Cyera trademark usage guidelines
Effective Date: May 2026 | Owner: Cyera Legal
1. Introduction
Cyera’s trademarks and logos are valuable assets that represent our brand, the quality of our products, and the trust our customers place in us. This policy establishes the rules for how third parties — including press, analysts, partners, resellers, integration developers, and agencies — may refer to and use Cyera’s trademarks, logos, and other brand elements.
Using Cyera’s marks without authorization, or in ways not described in this policy, is prohibited. Authorized partners and licensees receive a separate brand usage guide through the Cyera Partner Program.
Questions about trademark use reach out to trademark@cyera.io.
2. Cyera’s protected marks
The following marks are owned by Cyera Ltd. or Cyera US, Inc. and are protected under U.S. and international trademark law. Use of any of these marks without prior written authorization is prohibited, except as described in Section 4 (Permitted Uses).
CYERA®

The above list is not exhaustive. All Cyera product names, slogans, and logos — whether or not listed here — are proprietary marks of Cyera Ltd. or Cyera US, Inc.
3. General usage requirements
When referring to Cyera or its products in any written, digital, or oral communication, you must follow these rules:
- Use marks as adjectives, not nouns or verbs. Always pair a Cyera mark with the generic noun it modifies. Write “the Cyera® data security platform” not “the Cyera” or “Cyera-ing your data.”
- Use the correct trademark symbol on first prominent use. Use ® for registered marks and ™ for pending/unregistered marks.
- Do not alter the marks. Do not abbreviate, translate, hyphenate, combine with other words, or create phonetic equivalents of any Cyera mark.
- Keep your own brand prominent. Your company name and brand must appear more prominently than any Cyera mark in all materials.
- Do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Your use of a Cyera mark must not suggest that Cyera sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with your organization unless you have written authorization.
- International distribution: “Cyera is a trademark of Cyera Ltd., registered in the U.S. and in other countries.”
4. Permitted uses
The following uses are permitted without prior written approval, provided they comply with Section 3 above:
- Press and editorial references: Journalists, analysts, and bloggers may refer to Cyera and its products by name in news coverage, reviews, and research reports, provided references are accurate, factual, and not misleading.
- Compatibility and integration statements: You may state that your product or service “integrates with Cyera,” “is compatible with Cyera,” or “supports Cyera” when this is technically accurate. The Cyera mark must be less prominent than your own product name.
- Benchmarking and competitive comparisons: You may reference Cyera products in factually accurate benchmark studies and product comparisons.
- Academic and educational references: Non-commercial educational or research references to Cyera or its products are permitted.
The following uses require prior written approval from Cyera marketing which can be reached at brand@cyera.io:
- Use of Cyera logos or design assets in any form
- “Powered by Cyera” or “Built on Cyera” statements
- Co-branding, joint press releases, or co-marketing materials
- “Certified by Cyera” or similar certification badge usage (reserved for authorized partners)
5. Prohibited uses
The following uses are prohibited without exception:
- Company, product, or service names: Do not incorporate any Cyera mark — in whole or in part — into your company name, product name, service name, or app name.
- Domain names and social media handles: Do not register any domain name, subdomain, or social media account that contains a Cyera mark (e.g., cyera-partner.com, @cyerasolutions).
- Paid search keyword bidding: Do not bid on any Cyera mark as a paid search keyword or ad trigger (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads). This includes exact, phrase, and broad match targeting.
- Logo use without authorization: Do not use any Cyera logo, circular mark, or other design element without prior written approval.
- Alteration of marks: Do not alter, distort, animate, morph, combine, or create derivative versions of any Cyera mark or logo.
- Lookalike branding: Do not create logos, color schemes, or visual branding that imitate or are likely to be confused with Cyera’s brand identity.
- Disparaging or misleading use: Do not use any Cyera mark in a negative, disparaging, defamatory, or misleading context.
- Merchandise and physical goods: Do not use any Cyera mark on merchandise, apparel, promotional items, or other physical goods without a signed license agreement.
- Trademark registration: Do not attempt to register any Cyera mark, or any confusingly similar mark, in any country or jurisdiction.
6. Logo and design asset rules
Cyera’s logos — including the CYERA® word + logo mark and the circular green CYERA® design mark — are registered trademarks. Logo use is subject to stricter requirements than word mark use.
All logo usage requires prior written approval from Cyera’s marketing team unless otherwise agreed to.
When logo use is authorized:
- Use only official files provided by Cyera. Do not recreate, trace, or screenshot logos.
- Do not alter colors, proportions, orientation, or composition.
- Maintain required minimum clear space and minimum size as specified in the Cyera Brand Book.
- Do not place logos on backgrounds that reduce legibility or violate brand guidelines.
Official brand assets and usage guidelines are available in the Cyera Brand Book. Contact brand@cyera.io to request access.
7. Partner and integration guidelines
Cyera’s authorized partners (resellers, MSSPs, technology alliance partners, and integration vendors with a signed partner agreement) have additional rights to use Cyera marks as defined in their respective partner agreements.
Authorized partners may:
- Use approved co-branding assets in accordance with the Cyera Partner Brand Guide
- Display the Cyera partner logo or badge as provided by Cyera’s partner program
- Reference their partnership status (e.g., “Cyera Authorized Reseller”) in marketing materials, subject to brand guidelines
Authorized partners may not:
- Exceed the scope of rights granted in their partner agreement
- Use Cyera’s marks in ways that imply a deeper relationship than actually exists (e.g., “Cyera company” or “a Cyera division”)
- Sub-license Cyera marks to any third party
For partner program information contact partners@cyera.io.
8. Press and media guidelines
Members of the press, media, and analyst community may reference Cyera and its products by name in editorial and news coverage without prior written permission, provided the reference is accurate and not misleading.
For press kit materials, approved logo files, and spokesperson availability, visit the Cyera Newsroom or contact marketing@cyera.io.
9. Reporting unauthorized use
If you believe a third party is using Cyera’s trademarks or logos without authorization, or in violation of these guidelines, please report it to trademark@cyera.io.
Cyera reserves the right to take all appropriate legal action — including injunctive relief and monetary damages — against any party that infringes, dilutes, or misappropriates Cyera’s intellectual property rights.
10. Modifications
Cyera reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time without notice. Continued use of Cyera’s marks following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
