Integration at a glance

The integration between SentinelOne XDR and Cyera enables security teams to prioritize and act on sensitive data threats without switching platforms by ingesting Cyera's data security findings into the Singularity Operations Center as actionable exposures.
Customer Challenge

Security teams struggle to correlate sensitive data exposure with their broader security posture. Cloud datastores holding sensitive data are often misconfigured (e.g. logging disabled, encryption missing) but those findings live in a separate data security tool, outside the console where day-to-day decisions are made. Data risk stays invisible, remediation waits, and compliance evidence sits scattered across two systems.

Better Together

Cyera continuously detects misconfigurations on cloud datastores that hold sensitive data, attaching severity, compliance framework tags, and remediation guidance to every finding. SentinelOne brings those findings into the Singularity Operations Center, where teams already triage endpoint, cloud, and identity exposures, so data risk is managed in the same queue as every other exposure type, without switching platforms.

Benefits of the Integration

Unified exposure management
Cyera findings surface directly in SentinelOne Exposures, eliminating context-switching between tools
Faster remediation
Every finding arrives with actionable remediation guidance from Cyera, reducing time-to-remediate
Compliance visibility
Policy framework tags (CIS, PIPEDA, PHIPA) preserved and surfaced alongside findings for streamlined reporting
Analysis-ready data
Findings automatically normalized to the industry-standard OCSF format, so downstream analysis just works

How It Works

SentinelOne retrieves open misconfiguration findings from Cyera through a Singularity Marketplace app and normalizes them to OCSF 1.1.0 for the Exposures module.
01
Cyera detects
Cloud datastores are continuously scanned for misconfigurations, with asset mapping across different cloud providers and SaaS environments
02
SentinelOne retrieves
The Marketplace app authenticates with Cyera-issued client credentials and polls for open findings: issue name, severity, status, affected datastore, cloud provider, and regions.
03
Findings normalized
Each finding is converted to OCSF 1.1.0 and surfaces under Exposures related to misconfigurations
04
Teams act
Compliance framework tags, data classification groups, and Cyera's step-by-step remediation guidance arrive with every finding for triage and remediation.
