Cyera integrates with Collibra to bring discovered data inventory, classifications, sensitivity, ownership, and access context directly into the data catalog. The integration enriches existing Collibra assets in place and can optionally create inventory that is missing, helping data stewards maintain broader, more current visibility into their data estate with less manual effort.

Data environments change continuously, while catalog metadata often depends on manual discovery, classification, and maintenance.

As new datastores and data elements appear, governance teams can be left with incomplete or outdated context about what data exists, where sensitive information is located, and which governance requirements should apply. This makes it harder to maintain broad and consistent governance coverage as the data estate grows.

Cyera DSPM continuously discovers and inventories data assets, classifies sensitive information, and adds context about the data, its owners, and who can access it.

The integration brings that context directly into Collibra, enriching the assets data stewards already work with. Teams can navigate the technical hierarchy from system to column, filter assets by accepted classifications and sensitivity, review personal-data and record-level context, understand ownership and identity exposure, and open the corresponding asset in Cyera for deeper investigation.

When configured to do so, Cyera can also create inventory that is missing from the Collibra catalog.

How It Works

Cyera discovers and classifies data
Cyera scans the relevant data estate, inventories assets, and classifies the data they contain.

Cyera sends data context into Collibra
On install and then on a Cyera-managed schedule, Cyera sends data into Collibra, including the technical hierarchy, accepted classifications, sensitivity, record counts, ownership, identity context, and links back to Cyera.

Existing assets are enriched and optionally missing assets are created
Cyera matches discovered inventory to assets already present in Collibra and enriches them in place. In update-only mode, only matched assets are refreshed. When asset creation is enabled, Cyera can also create missing systems, databases, schemas, tables, and columns.

Data stewards work with enriched context in Collibra
Data stewards can use Cyera classifications, sensitivity, personal-data context, ownership, identity exposure, and record-level context directly within the Collibra assets they already work with, with links back to the corresponding objects in Cyera.
