Policies, ready when you need them

Don’t miss critical data exfiltration. Policies write, test, and tune themselves, closing coverage gaps as new behavior patterns emerge. Protection adapts and strengthens over time without manual maintenance.

Cyera unifying DSPM and DLP to prevent sensitive data movement across email, cloud, and AI.

See it at rest, stop it in motion

Turn deep datastore classification and identity insight into early prevention before data moves across email, cloud, and AI. DSPM and DLP, working together.

“Omni DLP has really been able to - through AI - identify what’s really important, what looks like normal business processes vs things that seem to be abnormal and it has really helped us to focus on things that matter. We saw 16,000 events that were false positives, that were then just shrunk to a handful of events, which saved me and my team a tremendous amount of time and that was all through Cyera.”

FAQs

What is data loss prevention?

Data loss prevention (DLP) is a set of technical controls designed to prevent sensitive data from being misused, exposed, or exfiltrated. It monitors how sensitive data is accessed, shared, or transferred across data at rest, data in motion, and data in use, and applies actions - such as alerting, blocking, or logging - based on defined policies. DLP helps reduce the risk of data loss that can lead to regulatory violations, financial impact, or loss of trust, while protecting proprietary data and personally identifiable information (PII).

How is Omni DLP different from traditional DLP?

Traditional DLP evaluates activity within individual enforcement points - such as email, endpoints, or web gateways - using static rules and isolated context. This often results in inconsistent decisions, high false positives, and constant policy tuning as data usage evolves.

Omni DLP introduces centralized, AI-driven decision intelligence by correlating signals across channels and enriching them with data sensitivity, access, and business risk context. This allows teams to prioritize incidents based on real risk, reduce alert noise, and focus investigations on what matters most.

Does Omni DLP replace existing DLP tools?

No. Omni DLP is designed to sit above your existing architecture, providing centralized decisioning and prioritization. Teams continue using their current DLP controls while Omni improves consistency across them without changing enforcement points or workflows.
